History of Peach Ringz

Peach Ringz is a hybrid cannabis strain bred by Dying Breed Seeds—a genetics brand born out of a collaboration between 3rd Gen Family Farms and Shiloh Massive. 3rd Gen Family Farms is located in Mendocino County, the heart of California's renowned "Emerald Triangle". The brand is led by grower and breeder Brandon Parker, a fourth-generation Mendocino citizen and a third-generation cannabis farmer. He and his family are well-known in the Californian and national US cannabis scenes, particularly for their large outdoor estate where they grow a lot of their product organically and under the sun.

Shiloh Massive is another highly beloved personality in the cannabis space. After living in Amsterdam, Spain, and Hawaii, Shilow moved to the Emerald Triangle in the late 1990s already with a long list of strains and genetics under his belt. Genetic Lineage of Peach Ringz

Peach Ringz is an indica-dominant hybrid resulting from a cross of Marionberry and Eddy Lepp (also known as Eddy OG). Below we'll shine a light on both of these unique strains to see how they may have impacted the traits of Peach Ringz.

Marionberry (also known as Marionberry Kush) is a unique Kush variety bred by Heroes of the Farm—a genetics company headed by Mr. Tony Chubbs. A cross of Raspberry Kush and Space Queen, Marionberry is a compact plant known to produce great yields of potent flowers. Marionberry buds are typically very dense, and emanate a rich, sweet aroma of berries, plums, and cherries. Producing around 25% THC, Marionberry is very potent and produces a relaxing high that couples a strong body buzz with a positive, stress-free mental sensation. The relaxing physical effects of Marionberry, as well as its calm yet uplifted mental stimulus, can also be found in Peach Ringz.

Peach Ringz's second parent is Eddy Lepp/Eddy OG, an indica strain that, despite taking 2nd place at the 2013 High Times Cannabis Cup, isn't very well-known. Created by Apothecary Genetics in 2004, Eddy OG combines genetics from Grape Ape and OG Kush. It is said to be a relatively short strain that produces good yields. Its flowers are very dense and boast a strong, sweet aroma with upfront notes of tropical fruit. Its effects are reportedly calming and cerebral at first, before growing into a strong euphoria with a slight underlying body buzz. Eddy OG's tropical aromas and short stature both seem to have heavily influenced Peach Ringz.

Physical Characteristics of Peach Ringz

Peach Ringz was made available in limited-edition seed packs sold by Dying Breed Seeds and some resellers. The seeds were marketed as a limited Vaulted Family Heirloom variety.

According to different sources, Peach Ringz exhibits very notable indica traits: a bushy structure, short internodes, and broad, dark green fan leaves. Despite their indica dominance, however, Peach Ringz plants can apparently grow fairly tall, reaching maximum heights of up to 2 meters depending on how much soil and space they're given.

In bloom, Peach Ringz develops long colas with thick clusters of small flowers. Come harvest time, Peach Ringz boasts vibrant shades of green, ranging from luscious emerald to light, minty tones, complete with rust-colored pistils and a sugary dusting of resin.

Properties and Effects of Peach Ringz

Peach Ringz is a very strong strain that regularly produces 24–29% THC. Its rich, sticky resin is also packed with pungent terpenes, particularly limonene, caryophyllene, and linalool. Together, these compounds give Peach Ringz a strong aroma with upfront notes of ripe berries and tropical fruit, mixed with sour overtones and a gassy, diesel-like finish. Its flavor is similar, though with much stronger notes of peach and apricots, followed by sour hints of berries on the exhale and lingering notes of fuel.

In terms of effects, Peach Ringz delivers a creeping, uplifting cerebral buzz that's soon followed by a lazy, tingly body stone. As her effects settle in, you can expect to feel giggly, hungry, and happy—the perfect state for ordering takeout and binge-watching Netflix. Alternatively, snuggle up on the couch with your special someone and pop on your favorite record before settling into a much-needed, restorative night's sleep.
