GovernMint Oasis stems from a breeding project carried out by Purple City Genetics—the vanguard of California cannabis. Founded in Oakland, California in 2008, the company has managed to build a large international growership through its consistent production of high-quality seeds and clones. Their strain library currently consists of 82 unique cultivars, including house varieties, seasonal selections, and collaborative strains. These breeding efforts largely focus on huge levels of THC and exotic terpene profiles. GovernMint Oasis fits into their lineup perfectly. First things first, the Purple City Genetics crew decided to introduce GMO into the equation. Also known as “GMO Garlic Cookies” and “Garlic Cookies”, this indica-dominant hybrid stems from parent strains GSC and Chemdawg. The former has gained a massive growership in the United States and elsewhere, thanks to her mighty potency and sweet flavors. The latter is a cannabis classic known for its pungent flavors and creative high. Equipped with these genetics, GMO produces a THC level averaging around 28%, making her quite potent. Potency aside, this parent also contains high levels of caryophyllene, limonene, and myrcene. These aromatic terpenes converge to produce tastes of diesel and sweetness. High levels of volatile aromatic compounds also add a hint of garlic into the mix. GovernMint Oasis inherited a quintessential indica morphology from GMO and Gush Mints. Prepare a rich growing medium amended with aged compost and worm castings to optimise plant health.
