Uptowngrowlab was created in Spanish Harlem in 2011 between Jay Kitchen and Uncle Tweezy. We both had been consuming and growing cannabis since the early 1970s. When we met. Tweezy was managing a hydroponics shop and I was a practicing attorney and administrative law judge. We tend to prefer gassy, stinky strains as befits our New York City origins but enjoy cannabis in all its myriad varieties, flavors and scents. We grow organically, True Living Organic style. Lots of earthworms and minerals. We try to run a 'just add water' grow media. Our strains are 'created' open pollination style. We currently have lines originating from Bodhi's Northern Lights #5, Capulator's Orange Cookie MAC, Brandon Rust's Lime Reserve and our own Boriqua Kush, along with a number of feminized strains sourced from our friends at BlimBurn seeds.
