Cross breeding landrace varieties in the early 00’s that lead to the highly appreciated Congo haze variety strain called Lila’s in 2006. Since witnessing the power of crossing cultivars from around the world the excitement and knowledge kept evolving. Working with the best resources available the creation and the hunt for more extraordinary genetics grew stronger. Longtime avoiders of the spotlights ourselves, by surprise a fine establishment in Amsterdam entered the Highlife cup 2022 with our own grown BDG’s Grape Jello and won the 2nd place. Handed over the cup some days later and hearts started melting. This is BrainDeathGenetics a small team of highly qualified enthusiasts with much love for the king of all herbs.
