Hardcore Gelato

Hardcore Gelato is an indica/sativa variety from Philosopher Seeds and can be cultivated indoors (where the plants will need a flowering time of ±60 days) and outdoors. Philosopher Seeds' Hardcore Gelato is a THC dominant variety and is/was only available as feminized seeds.

Philosopher Seeds' Hardcore Gelato Description

Hardcore Gelato is a cross between two really interesting plant selections, Sunset Sherbet x Gelato #33 and the well-known Key Lime Pie x Do-Si-Dos by Philosopher Seeds.

Some of the strains involved in Hardcore Gelato share genetics, thus many characteristics have just been enhanced. Sunset Sherbet is a cross between Girl Scout Cookies and Pink Panties, a plant with very tropical aromas that is related to Key Lime Pie. On the other hand, Gelato #33, also known as Larry Bird, also shares the Cookies lineage, but shows more Kushy aromas and sweet hashish hints.

Key Lime Pie x Do-Si-Dos (reversed female) is already a veteran of Philosopher Seeds. It is the one in charge of enhancing the resin quality. In addition, it intensifies the tropical aroma making Hardcore Gelato one of the maximum expressions of the famous Gelato family.

Hardcore Gelato it presents a favourable growth pattern for SOG cultivation, with a 12 plants in a 100m x 100m or 120m x 120m grow tent, ensuring an optimal canopy growth in a short period. Two weeks after inducing flowering, the canopy size increases considerably with the stretching, thus it is not advisable to grow it for a long period of time in order to save time and light consumption.

Hardcore Gelato cannabis is ready to harvest after about 9 weeks, with a yield of up to 500g per m2 indoors. Outdoors, with enough hours of direct sunlight and root space, the yield can exceed 600g per plant cultivated in open ground, obtaining certainly high yields.

Towards the last flowering stage, it can present red and purple colours, even very dark hues. The flowers certainly are really attractive, with an appetising appearance. It offers a very quick post-harvest task due to its ease of manicuring.

It is worth noting the weight of the flowers due to their compactness, and producing an enormous quantity of high quality resin that is difficult to find in other Gelato phenotypes. It is undoubtedly optimal for first class extractions.

Hardcore Gelato has a truly special bouquet. Sunset Sherbet's tropical aromas and sweet hashish undertones are really tasty, and even more so when combined with Key Lime Pie's (KLP) creamy flavour and the body of the Do-Si-Dos' Face Off smoke.

Hardcore Gelato cannabis is one of the most potent Gelato hybrids. It reaches THC levels well over 25% due to the Do-Si-Dos influence.

Harcore Gelato is an uplifting and stimulating plant. Its effect is balanced, providing a very pleasant body and mind sensation where everything seems to be wonderful.
