The climate in Cao Bang is subtropical/temperate climate, with mild winters and hot, humid and rainy summers.
Divided into two seasons: Rainy (from May to October) and dry seasons (November to April). Cao Bang is located south of China. The winter, from December to February, is mild, however, the sun is not a common sight and some drizzle may occur, with foggy nights especially in the early mornings. At times temps can drop below 5°C (41°F).
The annual mean temperature is 24-28°C (75-82 F), while the winter temperatures may be down to 5°C (41 F)
In April and May, before the monsoon season, the temperature can reach almost 40 °C (100/102 °F), but this can also happen from June to September, in periods of good weather. The summer, from May to September, is hot and muggy, with frequent and sometimes heavy rains.
Having this in mind, you can understand what type of climate these plants are used to and thrive in. The effects are typically of sativa plants.Very uplifting, very clear head and smily. Definitely different chemotype from the European and American poly-hybrids.
At a guess potency will be around 15%. Very high yielding plants with multiple branching. Since the locals grow also for seeds, the inflorescences can grow much bigger if grown for if grown for sinsemilla flowers and the smell could be more intense. In Vietnam they sow in March/April and harvest takes place between October and November.
Farmers say that every year is a little different and flowering takes longer or shorter depending on the weather. Expect at least a good 3 months for the flowers to fully ripen. Some may take more than 3 months (12 weeks)
