Basic / Breeders Info

Zk Fruit is an indica/sativa variety from and can be cultivated indoors (where the plants will need a flowering time of ±60 days) and outdoors. KushBrothers' Zk Fruit is a THC dominant variety and is/was only available as feminized seeds.

KushBrothers' Zk Fruit Description

ZK Fruit is a seed Limited Edition, a cross between Forbidden Zkittlez and Melonade, two US genetics. On the one hand the mother, Forbidden Zkittlez, is the cross between Forbidden Fruit and Zkittlez, with a wonderful citric taste and aromas reminiscent of the sweeties of the same name.

On the other hand, the Melonade father, developed in California by reversing the Lemon Tree #11 clone and pollinating Watermelon Zkittlez. In 2018 it won the NorCal Cup thanks to its potent and genuine aroma. It produces a strong lemonade flavour with watermelon on a milky background reminiscent of the best bowls of milk with cereal.
ZK Fruit, a vigorous and productive cannabis strain

ZK Fruit adapts to all types of cultivation. It is a very noble and vigorous plant in indoor cultivation, offering generous harvests and large amounts of resin. It is not difficult to obtain a yield of up to 500g per m2 of dry bud in a 120cm grow tent. Outdoors, provided with enough space for the roots, it can reach a yield of more than 400g per plant with no need for large amounts of fertiliser. The use of trellising on the main branches is recommended.

ZK Fruit produces easy to manicure buds that acquire beautiful colours. The buds are notable for the large amount of white resin that covers even the largest leaves.

Had about 10 of these in two different grows as we love the specified parents of this strain. We got about 8 different phenos which had nothing in common with either Melonade or Forbidden Zkittlez at all. The result could litterally have been anything. All had very low yields and low terps in common. The phenos we got two times tasted a bit like grape/red wine, one pheno with most terps smelled a bit like a fruity gmo, the rest hasn't had much flavor at all. Overall very disappointing, hard to believe that this is the result of the specified cross really.
