Finally the release that the world has been waiting for... The Mendo Purps! A strain of legend, we were gifted this at the 2004 Cannabis Cup. The result is some of the best tasting smoke the world has ever seen. It took us two years to release this strain but everyday has been worth the wait. Dense yields of pure purple. The taste is soothing, the buds dank, the bouquet is comparable to even the God. The high is uplifting, soaring, clear, with zero burnout and a deep taste of purple that lingers forever. If you want a garden so dank that you will start questioning the true meaning of life go with The Purps.

This is an amazing strain. Great yield, and the sticky purple buds that taste of grape. An easy strain to grow in my opinion. I grew in hydro, flowered in about 60 days. Looks and tastes amazing. I had no herm issues either, very stable strain. Can't wait to grow more. Highly recommended.

The Purps is an epic strain. I have grown over 50 strains in the last five or six years, and The Purps is in my top 2 or 3, hands down. It is superior genetics, and I grow a lot of great stuff. It turns purple from the inside out, no need to chill it at the end to achieve the purple buds. The aroma is beyond description, the fruitiest, most enticing smell both on the plant and in the bag! Then there's the medicinal effect. OMG!!!
I purchased direct from the breeders, BC Bud Depot, it arrived in a couple of weeks and the feminized seeds gave me no hermies. My guess is that anyone who gets hermies with this got a bad batch from another breeder. There are impostors out there... if you're going to buy a strain, get it from the original breeder, people! No hermies, all female, best-looking, smelling and tasting of any strain in my stable. The only downside is that it doesn't clone as quickly as some of my other strains, at least not in coco coir.
I normally grow this indoor under Hortilux bulbs, with C02 not over about 1100 PPM I find suits her best. Not as heavy a feeder as you might expect, either, but consistently great yields, and the quality is without equal.

I had no problems with hermies at all. This plant has great structure and the buds are just as sticky icky as can be.

Definitely watch out for herms from fem seeds. Caught one early flowering, but missed one and have a partially seeded crop with garbage seeds in it. One pheno has ridiculous internodel spacing when switched to HPS. Overall, not a stable seed line to buy. Spend your money elsewhere.
