Not homogenous, needs a little further development by breeder.

Got the seeds back in 2011 after it won the cannabis cup.

The seeds were small but dark and out of 5 fem seeds 2 didnt sprout, 2 popped but one of them died as a seedling and i gave 1 away （dont know what happened to this one, but i heard it popped）.

The plant i got was a bushy sativa leaning pheno which liked to stretch in flower.

It produced a gigant yield of dense buds in about 11-12 weeks of 12/12.

The frost coverage on the calyxes was good, but the surrounding leafs had almost no crystals.

My tangerine dream had a sweet exotic, somewhat tropical smell that wasnt too overpowering.

Well you could say this plant has everything a cup winner should have, but when it comes to the potency department it just wasnt representing anything worth a cup winner :（

It had a mix of head and body high but was pretty weak, especially when compared to the tangerine dream bud from barneys coffeeshop which was great, super potent and had an awesome, strong smell.

So this one was a disapointment, maybe if i had more than 1 plant to select from i could have found a more potent pheno but im not gettin more seeds anytime soon （especially because of germination problems with barneys strains; a friend got 2 other strains from them and most of them didnt germinate, and some even were white and looked like they were not done yet）.

Da es sich ja hier immerhin um einen "CupGewinner" handelt, waren meine Erwartungen schon sehr hoch. Doch "Viel Lärm um Nichts" - wie es so oft der Fall bei "Barney´s Farm" ist, würde es besser treffen.

Nun zum Grow

Canna Bio Dünger / Erde

5 Samen unter 400 Watt MH zu Mutterpflanzen gezogen

40 Stecklinge unter 400 Watt MH auf 70 - 75 cm heranwachsen lassen （18 Liter Töpfe）

（bis hierhin alles okay und keinerlei Probleme - bis dahin relativ homogener Wuchs aller Pflanzen）

Einleitung der Blüte unter 750 Watt NDL

Und ab hier zeigten sich die verschiedensten Phänotypen.

Am 65. Blütetag waren ca. 70% der Plants auf 210cm angewachsen （ein Ende nicht in Sicht）

Schöne Blüten bildeten sich nur an den 30% der Plants aus die "nur" 180cm groß wurden. Der Rest war nur sehr fluffig und nicht besonders kompakt oder gar aromatisch. Am 88. Tag habe ich begonnen dem Elend ein Ende （93.Tag） zu bereiten.

Auch der Geschmack der an "saure Mandarinen" erinnern soll - konnte bei der Verkostung nicht festgestellt werden.

Freiwillige Tester beschrieben das Aroma eher Richtung "Lauchzwiebel VS Knoblauch" .... vielleicht zum Mettbrötchen - wer es mag :）

Fazit: Sorte ist vollkommen überbewertet - wie das meiste von Barney. Die beiden Schätze die Barney anbietet sind "Utopia Haze" und "Red Dragon" - und wenn man eine handerlesene "Vanilla Kush Mutti" hat - kann man auch glücklich werden.

steigt ziemlich schnell in den kopf

ziemlich zickig bei zu feuchtem substrat.

ph wert abweichungen hat sie gut ertragen.

Tja, was soll man zu Barney»s noch sagen...das Endprodukt ist auf der einen Seite top und für Fans von würzig-fruchtigem Haze ein absoluter Hochgenuss, aber die angegebene Blütezeit ist （,wie auch zuvor bei Acapulco Gold, Liberty Haze & Vanilla Kush） eine glatte Lüge oder bezieht sich jedesmal auf 10.000 Watt-Beleuchtung . Mit Glück erwischt man eventuell einen Pheno, der es in unter 90 Tagen macht, aber die Angaben von Barneys sind wiederholt unseriös! Deshalb trotz gutem Endprodukt nur 3 von 10 Punkten.

Barney«s empfehle ich ein Praktikum in Sachen Kundeninformation & Service bei Paradise Seeds, Sensi Seeds oder Reserva Privada. Vor allem bei diesen Breedern kann ich bestätigen, dass man zum einen das Produkt bekommt, das beschrieben wird und zudem alle Pflanzen nahezu einheitlich sind bzw. im Falle von Sensi auch nur die angegebenen Phenotypen existieren - so erwarte ich das! Nicht einfach mal die halbe Blütezeit angeben, damit bloß keiner vom Anbau absieht... (11.07.2012, 14:33)
