Slapz is a cannabis hybrid bred by Exotic Genetix. While now a well-respected name in the cannabis genetics game, Exotic Genetics is the work of a humble grower and breeder known as Mike or Big Stimmy. Originally from Tacoma, Washington, Mike started his cannabis career working in a grow shop where he was constantly approached by cannabis growers dealing with pests. Knowing that most pesticides didn't work, Mike encouraged growers to properly clean their grow rooms and start fresh using clean seeds as opposed to clones, which often come carrying bugs and pests. Noting a lack of good seed stock, Mike began creating his own and giving them out to the growers coming to his store, most of whom were medical patients growing their own medicine.

Genetic Lineage Of Slapz



Exotic Genetix created Slapz by crossing its own Grease Monkey with the iconic Runtz, resulting in a slightly indica-leaning hybrid. Below we'll explore both of these parent strains in more detail, including their grow traits, aromas, and effects to see what they may have imparted on Slapz.



Grease Monkey, Slapz' first parent, is one of Exotic Genetix flagship strains. Created around 2016/2017, Grease Monkey combines genetics from the almighty GG4 (previously known as Gorilla Glue or Original Glue) and Cookies & Cream, arguably one of Mike's most successful creations. This strain packs around 27% THC and a mix of terpenes that combine to produce a rich aroma of earthy vanilla, skunk, and dank petroleum. Grease Monkey is also known to produce a heavy indica-like stone that numbs the body and leaves users feeling lazy, hungry, and often sleepy.
