Purple #40

Purple #40 is a mostly indica variety from PCG and can be cultivated indoors (where the plants will need a flowering time of ±70 days) and outdoors. PCGs Purple #40 is a THC dominant variety and is/was only available as feminized seeds.

PCGs Purple #40 Description

On the one hand Purple Punch, a very powerful variety that has dazzled all growers who have enjoyed this elite cutting. It is a plant with a vertical structure, with low secondary branches unless pruned. It produces large, compact buds crystallised in trichomes that offer pleasant flavours.

On the other hand GMO Cookies by Mamiko Seeds, also known as Garlik Cookies. It is a prize-winning variety of several cannabis cups thanks to its original flavours reminiscent of garlic mixed with diesel aroma. It is undoubtedly an irresistible aroma and flavour recognisable from the first puff. It produces an energetic effect that progresses to a more relaxing stage. It can knock you out if consumed in excess.

Purple #40 exhibits a vigorous growth. This plant adapts well to all growing systems, and it is suitable for both indoor and outdoor cultivation. It produces Indica Sativa hybrid leaves, initially green in colour, which turn purple, reddish and yellow as the growing progresses. Certainly, it is a plant of great attractiveness.

During the flowering period, it produces rock hard buds, with large, highly resinous calyxes that honour its frosty ancestors. It requires 9-11 weeks of flowering to complete its life cycle, with an indoor yield of up to 450-550g per m2. Outdoors it can reach a good size and deliver an impressive harvest of elegant and powerful flowers with a yield that can exceed 800g per plant.

Purple #40 emanates excellent aromas and flavours in a balanced mix of ripe fruit with sweet grape notes. Aromas and flavours permeate the palate for a long while. Certainly, a feast for the taste buds.
