ACE Seeds' Mauritius x Ethiopian Description

ACE Seeds Mauritius x Ethiopian This 100% sativa F1 hybrid was created by crossing a rare and exotic sativa from Mauritius islands (with a certain kinship to the Zamal sativas from nearby Reunion Island) with our best second generation Ethiopian sativa parental plants.

The result is an extreme sativa hybrid, with a tropical, wild and untamed profile. Tall, thin and languid plants, with slender and flexible stems, growing with spectacular vigour and branching. Certain expressions (especially when growing large plants in the ground) can show the extreme tentacle-like lateral branchings that are so characteristic of the African sativas from these Indian Ocean islands.

The flowering phase begins slowly, although as it starts to mature this hybrid reveals all its true beauty and tropical sativa essence. The pistils are extremely long, thin and beautiful. The ovaries are of medium/small size, but compact and with a good production of large trichomes. The reflowerings take place very suddenly in the middle of the bloom phase (with the right conditions of heat and strong light intensity), creating large and long, spongy floral structures, with a very good flower to leaf ratio, forming obscene, spear-shaped final reflowerings which allow proper air movement between the floral clusters, making it practically immune to fungi like botrytis in high humidity or rainy conditions.

Sativa hybrid specially dedicated to the lovers of the most cerebral and euphoric pure tropical sativas without ceiling, and for outdoor cultivation in tropical or subtropical climates.

Genetics
Pure sativa from Mauritius (P1) x best 2nd generation Ethiopian parental plants.

Structure
Tall, thin and lanky sativa, with slender and flexible stems, and a spectacular branching and vigour.

Bouquet
Classic African sativa terpenes: earthy, woody and floral, hops, with spicy touches, citrus and lemon, with some phenotypes offering appealing lavender aromas.

High
Cerebral effect with no ceiling, speedy, euphoric and trippy, physically energetic. Of moderate duration and with a very clean comedown.

Terpene profile
It has not yet been analyzed.

Growing Tips
It can be grown indoors with strong light intensity and with enough space for its development.
We recommend to switch her into flowering after 15 days from seed, or starting from clones rooted for at least 7 days. We recommend 11 (light)/13 (darkness) photoperiod for the flowering indoors, in order to boost the flowering, and to avoid reflowerings or excessive stretching in early flowering.

Very suitable for SOG crops due to its great yield in the main cola, or for SCROG, horizontal or network growing due to its excellent yield in the lateral branches and its vigorous reaction to pruning.

Outdoors, it is especially suitable for outdoor cultivation in tropical or subtropical climates, although it can be cultivated with very good results in warm coastal climates of mild autumn (similar to the Mediterranean) up to latitudes close to 43º.

We recommend low/moderate levels of nutrients (especially of nitrogen) for the whole cycle, and slightly higher amounts of PK at the peak of floral production in mid-flowering.
