History of the Carbon Fiber Cannabis Strain



Carbon Fiber is a hybrid strain created in Colorado, USA by a breeder known as Cannarado Genetics. A respected name in the US cannabis scene, Cannarado Genetics' experience growing and breeding weed dates back to the late 1990s. In 2009/2010, the breeder behind Cannarado Genetics became more present on online cannabis forums and eventually decided to launch an official seed bank to meet the growing demand for quality seeds as legalization spread across the US.

Genetic Lineage of Carbon Fiber



Carbon Fiber is a hybrid strain created from a three-way cross of Grape Pie, Biscotti, and Cookies & Cream. Below we'll take a look at these varieties, their traits, and their influence on Carbon Fiber.



Grape Pie, as mentioned earlier, is one of Cannarado's most famous strains. Bred from Cherry Pie and Grape Stomper, Grape Pie is an indica-dominant hybrid that produces dense and sweet purple buds. Its rich mix of terpenes combine to produce a delicious aroma with notes of sweet grapes, berries, and cherries, along with a peppery kick. Grape Pie usually packs up to 30% cannabinoids and produces strong effects that combine deep physical relaxation with a happy cerebral euphoria. While most people recommend this strain for afternoon or nighttime use, some users also report being able to stay focused and productive under its spell.



Carbon Fiber's second parent, Biscotti, is an indica-dominant hybrid descending from Gelato and South Florida OG.
