Pathetic plant! not worth it's price at all! the price is misleading it's a waste of money! the only great thing about it is the weird smell. it's genetically a small one.

Firstly it was TINY! for that price you get an extra small seed, which, unlike think different small seeds which grow big, turns into an extra tiny plant. The extra tiny plant also makes extra small seeds, know because i made five seeds from it using a purple maroc. it makes super tiny seeds. So, sweet will very likely send you a tiny seed that makes a tiny plant. that's the issue here. they said FROM BIG DEVIL XXL. get a different purple auto, they lie. i gave it great conditions, great soil, large pot, and it yielded about 7-10 grams after 2 months of 600w hps. next to it was a standard small automatic with 30 grams on it. (and further some marocs and nirvana sky auto kush hybrids)

it didn't turn purple until 2 weeks after the pistils had withered, and then it became medium purple. the smell is amazing i didnt smell something so lavender before, it was minty and lavender or some heavy scent of that kind, but different. very curious. (23.04.2015, 11:30)

Very nice strain. 4 of 4 popped and purpled out really nice.

Put them into 6L Airpots at the beginning of June on the balcony (complete southside with sun from morning to evening)

Didint fed them for the first 2-3 Weeks (soil got fertilizer in it)

Then fed them with long-term fertilizer for about 4-5weeks (bluecorn/blaukorn)

At the end I fed them with PK long-term fertilizer and the rest of the bluecorn what was laying on top of the soil.

Last 2 weeks got some extra PK13/14

than harvested the first one after round about 7 1/2 weeks.

the other need 1-2 weeks more.

The size is from 35-55cm / Harvest Dry: 1#=10gr #2=9,3gr #3=9,8gr #4=9,85gr ===〉 Total Dry Weight = 38,95gr

They smell really nice, not like normal cannabis. You can smell the voilett :D

I would discribe it as a hint of sweet lavender, lot of berry and a touch of fruityness.

PS: under the microscope I saw some pink gland heads/trichome heads

Maybe you can find them on the pictures as well ;-)

I wish they would make non-automatic seeds from the darkdevil (06.02.2019, 19:04)

This was my first auto grow. I usually grow photos.

I grew a Dark Devil auto in Soil grown under LED lighting. I heard of a lot of rumours not to top autos so I figured that I would give it a go and see what happens. I topped her at the 3rd node which was around week 2 and LST'd the branches as they grew out. She displayed a beautiful vigor since sprouting and handled the topping like a breeze. Breaking it's apical dominance saw it produce 6 tops instead of the traditional one large main cola. This allowed me to keep the plant short and productive (it ended up being 80 cm tall and topping gave it great structure and helped it to grow the buds out evenly). Not too sure on yield but I let her go all the way to 80 days from seed. She seemed to pack on decent weight and the flowers had a nice density to them without being too rock hard.

The particular pheno I grew didn't have the dark purple almost black leaves I have seen on other Dark Devil and mainly stayed green until the end of flush leading to a natural yellowing.

It almost grew like an XL auto.

The flowers produced beautiful violet hues and I can see what Sweet Seeds mean when they say that the Dark Devil buds will dry up to an almost black colour.

Highly recommend this strain! looks very stable and highly resistant to pests, temperature fluctuations and fungal infections.

Developed a very complex aroma mixture that consisted of; Earthy, Piney, Citrus, Musky, Sweet, Incense like smells. (17.06.2018, 08:08)

I felt obligated to give this strain a review after looking up reviews of this strain while i am growing it. Most of the information i have found including the reviews here are very inaccurate. Perhaps the problem lies with the source of the seeds or maybe even the growers.

Im currently running 6 of these ladies in 5 Gallon buckets under 2 600w Hps air cooled hoods. I ran a 600w MH on the until week 3 of veg. Once they reached around a foot tall they stretched out quite a bit which seemed bad at first, but turned out to be great as the buds quickly filled the gaps. ALL 6 of my plants turned almost magenta about 1.5 weeks into flower and continue to produce nothing but purple buds. You literally have to strain in order to see any green on these buds at all.

As far as the yeild of this plant goes, overall it is great!!! I only had 1 of the 6 dwarf on me like you would expect an auto to do. The other 5 however have exploded with extremly dense buds. The largest cola as of right now probably wieghs around 30g itself. Thats not to mention the amazing side bud action that is going on. Even the buds at the very first internode from the bottom are fat and clustered. Not a single popcorn bud on them.

Keep in mind that i only gave these plants 1...thats right 1 dose of AN sensi bloom PH perfect formula (2 part formula) the rest was just a touch of half strength veg nutes about 2 weeks in. These plant have surpassed my expectations by far. And thats coming from someone who has grow think different with the exact same setup. The overall smell of these plants is very similar to a cheese or haze, with a hint of fruit. As of right now im at day 70 from seed and tricomes are on the milky side but with few amber as of right now. (21.06.2015, 09:00)
