Our JSON-based API provides an interface for client developers to interact with content stored on SeedFinder, and to build new applications on top of SeedFinder's infrastructure. The JSON-Files you can get and use very simple with a URL GET or POST request and a little bit JavaScript, PHP or something like that.

Our API also can deliver the data as JSONP or in different formats.

Examples

Click here for an example which will show you the usage of the ID- and the StrainInfo JSON-Files together. Here we load the data with jQuery and JSONP, but the output is really simpel... If youre looking for something more extended or an ready made widget - no problem, here we have a small but full working strain-info-browser for you! This will enable you to add a small select-box for breeders and strains to your page, and the user can directly load all strain-info (including pics, charts, tastings and so one) onClick!
At last here you will find a small example for the ThreadFinder-Api (will open in a new window) - together with a simple-strain output, including reviews, taste, high, effects, medical info and much more...

IMPORTANT

Please note:
To use our JSON API you must verify your domain(s) here into the User-Area at first!

If you do a request from a unregistered domain you will get an Error 403!
